What is an air taxi?
It is an on-demand charter flight: you hire the aircraft for your own leg, on the day you need it, with no fixed schedule and no fixed stops. Florais flies passengers within Brazil, on non-scheduled flights.
How many people fit in the aircraft?
Up to 5 passengers, in the Seneca III PT-VLR. Baggage and weight are part of flight planning: tell us in the quote what is coming along.
Do you fly outside Mato Grosso?
Yes, within Brazil. Operations are domestic and non-scheduled, based in Várzea Grande, MT. Florais does not fly abroad.
How much does a flight cost?
Every flight is quoted from scratch: the price depends on the route, the dates and the waiting time at the destination.
How do I ask for a quote?
Fill in the flight plan on the quote page: origin, destination, date and passengers. The site builds the message in your browser and you send it to Florais by email. If you prefer, call (65) 4042-1823.
The aircraft and the service
Which aircraft does Florais fly?
The Embraer EMB-810D, known as the Seneca III, registration PT-VLR: a twin piston aircraft for up to 5 passengers. It is the Florais aircraft authorized for air taxi.
Does Florais fly air ambulance missions?
No. Florais charters passenger flights. It does not do medical (air ambulance) flights, sightseeing flights or dangerous goods transport.
Does Florais have other aircraft for charter?
No. For air taxi, the only authorized aircraft is the Seneca III PT-VLR.

How do I check that the company is authorized?
On the public Voe Seguro lookup from ANAC (the Brazilian civil aviation authority), using the CNPJ 41.280.688/0001-98 or the registration PT-VLR. Both are on the home page, with a copy button.
Where is the base?
The Florais base is at Hangar 15, Aeroporto Internacional Marechal Rondon, Av. Governador João Ponce de Arruda, s/n, Várzea Grande, MT, 78125-152.
Does the site store my request?
No. The form builds the message in your browser, and the request only reaches Florais when you send it from your own email. The privacy policy explains what the site receives.
